NTPC has received the prestigious“Economic Times(ET)HR Future Skills Award 2024"under two categories-“Best use of AI/AR/VR in Learning & Upskilling Gold"&“Best Advance in creating an Extended Enterprise Learning Program Gold”.The award trophies were received by Ms. Rachana Singh Bhal,CGM(PMI), Shri A K Tripathi GM(RLI Sipat) & Shri Chandramauli S Jangbahadur,GM along with other officials, in a glittering function held at Gurugram on 18th July, 2024.
ATD BEST AWARD 2024
NTPC has achieved an impressive milestone by securing the 3rd rank globally at the ATD BEST Awards 2024, this being the highest ranking among all Indian companies. Notably, NTPC is the only PSU to have received this prestigious award seven times in the past eight years. "NTPC-PMI was the proud recipient of Silver Award of the prestigious "Brandon Hall Excellence in Technology Awards 2023" in the area of Learning and Development Technology Awards ,in the category of Best Advance in Augmented and Virtual Reality on the topic of “Technological solution based on AR/VR for augmenting the capacity building of workforce”. The award was declared on 07th December, 2023.NTPC wins 2 Gold Awards in Brandon Hall Group HCM(Human Capital Management)Excellence Awards 2023,under categories: Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Program & Best Results of a Learning Program.
(HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT) EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT 2023
NTPC has bagged the First Runner-up Prize in Society for Human Resource Management Award 2023 in the Excellence in Learning and Development category. The award was handed over to NTPC, PMI in a glittering function held at Hotel Taj Palace on 12th October 2023. Director (HR), ED (HR) and Head (PMI) and senior officials of NTPC have received the award, highlighting the collective effort and leadership commitment to excellence in learning and development. NTPC secured the coveted trophy for the first time in the open category which demonstrates NTPC's ability to compete and excel not only within Public sector but also against private companies. The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD)2023
NTPC has bagged the First Prize in The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) Award held at SCOPE Convention Centre on 3rd August 2023. NTPC secured the coveted trophy, which is NTPC's sixth ISTD win in a row.

Business World People HR Excellence Award 2023
NTPC has received the prestigious “Business World People HR Excellence Award 2023" under the category “Excellence in Learning Technology (Gold) award" at the 8th edition of Business World (BW) People HR Excellence Awards. Shri Sital Kumar, ED (HR) & CEO(UPL) along with Ms. Rachana Singh Bhal,GM & Head (PMI), received this award on 27th May 2023 at Aloft Aerocity, New Delhi.
ATD BEST AWARD WINNER 2023
NTPC has been bestowed with the prestigious ATD 2023 BEST Award. This international award was received by Shri D K Patel, Director (HR) in a glittering ceremony held on 22nd May, 2023 at San Diego, CA, USA. It ranked best amongst Indian PSUs and is the only PSU to have won this award six times.

NTPC bagged 2nd position in the 31st ISTD National Awards for Innovative Training Practices (2020-21) competition held on 25th June 2022 in the Services category. The award recognizes adoption of innovative HRD practices. NTPC has now bagged the ISTD award 5 times in a row. 2nd position in 2016-17 and 2020-21 and first position in 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20. The Dun & Bradstreet Infra Award-2019 has been conferred on NTPC Limited for ‘Excellence in Power Generation.’ Shri Saptarshi Roy, Director (HR) NTPC received the award from Shri Arvind G. Sawant, Hon’ble Union Minister, Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and Shri S.C. Garg , Secretary (Power), GOI in New Delhi.

NTPC alongwith TCS was adjudged winner of 14th edition of the B M L Munjal Awards in the Sustained Excellence category in New Delhi. Best Government Organisation w.r.t Implementation of Cognitive Technologies
NTPC PMI has been awarded as the "Best Government Organisation w.r.t Implementation of Cognitive Technologies" for their project on "Learning through Immersive Technology (VR/AR/MR)" by Computer Society of India. The award was received by Shri P.K. Sinha, GM (PMI) and Shri K.V. Prasad, AGM, in Mumbai on 7th December 2018.

BML Munjal Award 2018 (Sustained Excellence Category)
NTPC PMI secured the 2nd Position in the BML Munjal Award 2018 for Sustained Excellence in Learning & Development after competing with private and public sector companies.
This category is open for those companies who have won this award in past. Such companies have to demonstrate that they have sustained and excelled in their L&D efforts.
