Programme Overview and Objective:
Balance sheet and financial ratios evaluate a company's financial health and performance. There are three types of ratios derived from the balance sheet: liquidity, solvency, and profitability. Liquidity ratios show the ability to turn assets into cash quickly. Solvency ratios show the ability to pay off debts.Financial Statements contain wealth of information, if properly analyzed and interpreted, can unfold valuable insights in the performance of the firm. The objective of the programme is to impart comprehensive understanding of Financial Statements reading, how to analyze these statements, what are the important financial ratios relevant for a particular credit facility, how to compute and compare those ratios with the industry benchmarks
