Programme Overview and Objective:
Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is an advanced Non Destructive Evaluation Technique, extensively used to check the soundness of butt weld joints in Boiler Tubes, in High Pressure Piping and in Structures during construction phase of a project as well as during overhauling also. Application of this advanced NDT Technique requires thorough understanding of the concepts involved, the correct calibration and sensitivity setting of the equipment and correct interpretation of test results. After the training, an examination will be conducted on theory and practical as per requirements of ISO 9712. Qualifiers will be given PAUT Level – II, ISO 9712 certificate, which is valid worldwide in all industries. Physical training is organised for the candidates who have already cleared online module.
